There is a pretty good walk to the beach if you have to haul a bunch of stuff. That was really my only issue was the walk to the beach with all of our stuff in tow. Beautiful area. It was close walk to beach with boardwalk to the ocean. We took our boat and had plenty of room for parking. There was plenty of outdoor seating if you have time to sit. They had plenty of extra bedding and towels if needed. The community was dog friendly and almost all residents had dogs. It was the perfect size for our family, great location (15 minutes from Port St Joe and 15 minutes from the state park). We enjoyed the beach in the neighborhood but a beach wagon is a must if you have lots of beach gear since it's a 5-10 minute walk from the home. This was a perfect place to stay when you are at a property with beach access and close to the Park Launch. Nice to be able to clean your catch downstairs and rinse the days activities away and then go upstairs to eat and shower. We appreciate having the ease and comfort of a home away from home.
