"Good walking location at about 6-8 blocks to downtown Salem. Be aware that it’s 13 stairs from the front of the building to the duplex front door, then another 13 stairs to the second floor area with the only couch to watch TV. You’ll need two codes: one for the building and another for the apartment. We were unfortunately left waiting in the rain for about 20 min waiting for the building code. Pics accurately depicted apartment. Had plumbing issues with slow infilling toilets in both baths but...

Definitely a more expensive hotel, but worth it in my opinion if you have the funds! Super walkable to every thing you might want to do in Salem. We parked the car and didn’t get back in till we were leaving. The hotel staff were so kind and professional and polite. And the building itself is stunning inside and out. Only downside was our room didn’t have a mini fridge haha but first world problems right. There was always cold water available to refill bottles.

The hotel staff are awesome and helpful. Hotel is centrally located in the pedestrian section of Essex. MTBA parking is only an 8 minute walk and very inexpensive.

Amazing property. We stayed in the Luxury room (202) and were surprised that the photos did not even do it justice. It was a spacious room, well maintained property with free parking and great amenities.

Staff was amazing and breakfast was good
The hotel is being renovated but overall a good experience
The property is a bit dated but again the standards are well kept and even though the rooms need a refresh they are nice and big
Convenient location just by the highway. The pool needs to be treated more as it gave the feeling it was dirty (the colour was not transparent and because of that we did not use it)
Everything else was excellent
Parking was ok but you need to pay via your phone,...

Rooms were very clean. Short Uber ride to Salem and Boston area. Starbucks in the parking lot was handy for sure. Pool was not available during our stay which was a bit annoying.
