This property was a great place to stay while visiting volcano national park and the surrounding area. The animals were really friendly and a joy to be around. Theresa greeted us when we got there and provided us with helpful information on things to see and do. The breakfast was amazing! We appreciated the many thoughtful touches like the heated blanket, heated towel rack, flashlight and umbrellas for visiting the park. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

VFI is very close to Volcano National Park and it was the main reason why we chose to stay here. The house is nestled in the rainforest with a short drive from the main road so its very quiet. Our room is spacious with many windows facing the rainforest and a big patio. Our room is comfortable and pleasant. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. The host, Jon, is also a very nice guy and approachable. Breakfast is a grab and go and has plenty of fresh fruits which is a bonus!

Aloha Junction Guest House was formerly a B&B, but now considered a non-hosted guest house. The house is a beautiful former plantation house. The guest rooms are themed. Ours a cowboy theme. Really cute & tastefully done. We arrived to a welcome basket of food for our first breakfast. There was a microwave, fridge, kettle & coffeemaker in our room. The kitchen was off limits to guests.
