"Horrible spring mattresses. The mattress actually rumbled when my husband’s snored and he doesn’t snore loudly or a lot. The AC/heat vent ventilation was horrific and both myself, and my husband were wheezing before we went to bed and horrifically when we woke up."

"I have been staying at Best Western hotels prior to, during and after Covid and this was definitely the worst and most disappointing experience I've ever had. I did not hang my do not disturb sign on my door, which in every hotel I have ever stayed at means I would like my room cleaned. When I arrived back to my room in the evening the washroom was cleaned but nothing else. The bed linens were not changed and the bed was not made. I called the front desk and after I told her about my room she asked me if I had specially requested for it to be cleaned. I was taken aback. Since when does a guest have to specially request their room to be cleaned even at the cheapest motels. She claimed that since Covid, Best Western had changed their policy and only fully clean rooms upon special request. Firstly, I have never had to do that ever even after Covid in any Best Western Hotels and my rooms were still cleaned. Secondly, at no point in time during check-in was this ever mentioned nor was there any signage pertaining to this. I asked the receptionist what they would do about it and she stated that she could come up and bring me fresh linens. I said and then what? Then she said because all the cleaners were gone I would have to change out the sheets and fix the bed myself!! Multiple other families stayed their too for our tournament, none had made special requests and all had clean rooms!! Neither she nor any management got back to me even until now. No apology or response"

"The kitchenette was disgustingly filthy with food particles on the counter top. The pots were burned and unusable, the cutlery was unwashed but put in the drawer. The floor was so sticky that even with shoes on it was sticky. The stove was filthy on the top and in the oven. The drapes were hanging by a thread. Floor was not vacuumed. Food crumbs on tv dresser.There was one towel in the bathroom. We complained, and were given a few pots but not useable either as burned. Staff sent someone up to clean the kitchenette. All that was done was brushing the crumbs to the floor. Nothing done about the sticky floor. I spoke to the manager and he said he would make it right but actually did nothing. We asked for compensation or another room but there was no other kitchenette available. Refunds are not given. Everyone needs to know about this place and give hones reviews, not ones that can be made by staff or their friends or who ever gave even a low rating. "
