An okay place to stay
Our family of four just returned from a weeklong vacation at this property. The condo is in a nice, quiet neighborhood and the view of the bay is beautiful. I spent a lot of time using the provided binoculars to keep track of the osprey pair that were nesting on the platform you can see from the great screened in back porch. The living room sofa was large (and comfortable) enough for all of us to sit and watch tv or play games, which was great.
We had several issues that made our star less than stellar. It started at check in. When we walked in, it was obvious the place hadn’t been cleaned. There were dirty linens in the main bedroom and both bathrooms and the property was clearly dirty throughout from the last guests. It took numerous calls (3+) to Vacasa to get a cleaning crew out. They finally showed up at 8 and were done by 9. Despite our requests, we were never able to speak to a local Vacasa representative.
There were other issues to note too - the AC system is digital and took us a while to figure out so that the temp would stay constant (it kept going into eco mode throughout the day and night). The back door doesn’t lock. The condo is on the 2nd floor so we felt safe enough but not ideal. And the Wi-Fi goes out frequently. We found restarting the router typically worked. It wasn’t a huge deal but worth noting.
