"The view and resort are beautiful but if you're not there for golf or an event, after a day of the view, there isn't much to do except lay by the pool. Pool is nice, well maintained w/ choices of areas for kids and adult only and the main combined pool. The pool water was perfect, not too cold nor too warm. You can tell that this place has been lived in for decades as it has some wear and tear, but that also provides some of the charm. We enjoyed the open room concept, the big backyard with two playsets in the back for the kids, the patio with surround sound that was great for relaxing, the grill, the jacuzzi tub, washer and dryer, and coffee beans. "I stayed the weekend with my son, my mom, my boyfriend, and his mom at the peacock house for my first trip ever to San Antonio. We loved the house, we had plenty of space and were very comfortable. We were only a short drive from everything we wanted to do and see. We loved seeing all the peacocks. I had looked at many, many different houses for this trip on both this site and others, but I am so very happy I picked this one."
