Niagara Wine Region Vacation Packages

This is a hotel that was great in its day, and needs some tlc to bring it back to its old grandeur. The location is great but that's about it. The entrance is difficult and the lobby set up is badly designed - getting in and out if more than one person is coming is a feat. The staff, the little we saw of them, at the front desk were not friendly nor helpful. We were supposed to get the Expedia VIP treatment, but what we got was an attitude. On top of that, there seems to be a policy in Canada to charge a security deposit of $400 on a paid room. I had never heard of such a thing, and what's the logic there? One of the appliances in the apartment wasn't working either. I wanted to like it, low floor view and balcony, but the unfriendliness really took the joy out of the stay. It's comfortable enough in the room, just don't expect a super friendly or pleasant experience.

Elevators were terrible. The pull out couch was broken so we had 2 kids that slept on the floor. Location and View was great but glad we only stayed one night.

Self check-in was a nightmare. The security desk had no record of our reservation. We were able to contact the host who were able to file the proper applications required by the property. But it took a very long time which made us miss the opening ceremony for the blue jays. Which was the reason for our trip. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. Also had coffee. The beds were very uncomfortable. I could feel the springs through the mattress. After the added condo fees the price was not worth it. Would have been better to stay in a hotel. And they had no place to store our luggage at check out until our evening flight.

For a hotel in the heart of downtown, it was a solid stay. Very close to many tourist attractions, restaurants, popular streets, and minutes away from the TTC. The hotel breakfast was very worth it. The hotel staff was very kind — we were granted an early check-in at no extra charge. Only minor notes were that the room we booked was quite small for four people. The sliding washroom door in our room was also translucent to the point where it was a little awkward to use because we could see each other’s silhouette. Aside from that, the hotel itself was very clean, provided great amenities, and was a great place to sleep and recharge while we spent most of our visit exploring the city.
