"We really enjoyed sitting on deck eating our meals taking in all that the river has to offer. Inside was very pleasant also with full views of the river. The only glitch was losing electricity due to a storm of course over which no one had control. James was very helpful under the circumstances by bringing us flashlights and some battery operated lights. He even offered to move us to another location but we liked it so much there that we chose to stay."

"Location was very convenient for our outings in Louisville with a rental car/uber. Couldn’t beat the riverfront location and all the amenities at the unit. Owner stopped by while in the neighborhood and was very friendly and offered great suggestions. Would rent this property again if in the area."

"Pulled up to this home, it was very welcoming. Easy to get to with lots of small restaurants and coffee shops reasonably close. The space was great for our small family and the hosts provided anything you could want in a rental. Would recommend and would use again when we visit Louisville."

"The check in process was super easy and the host was good! The area can seem a little off putting but we didn’t have any problems. And it was nice being a short drive from restaurants and bars. The towels were still in the dryer when we got there and not put away in a cabinet so we couldn’t find them at first but other than that everything was perfect! "We were there for a volleyball tournament and the house was very convenient to downtown/Kentucky Convention Center. The house was updated recently and it did not disappoint. It was beautiful and the decor was nice too. The beds were all comfortable and the home was equipped with all the necessary things to make it feel like your own."

"The house was clean and the check-in process was good. No direct communication from the host initially but all the information was included in the email. The location was great! Minutes away from Logan Street Market and only a few minutes away from downtown. Lots of great restaurants in the neighborhood that are within walking distance. We would stay again if we come back to Louisville. The only minor complaint would be that the AC/HVAC is loud when it’s on. The neighborhood seemed pretty safe...

"My husband, son, and daughter in law (and me) truly enjoyed our stay. The home had everything and more that we could possibly need. It’s a comfortable place to sit and talk. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck and then walking for ice cream. Yum! Thank you so much for everything!"

"We all had a great time. My husband's three kids and their families joined us for his birthday. It was raining much of the time, so we didn't get to utilize the huge deck (and we only stayed one night). The house had plenty of room for all of us. It was nicely decorated and clean."

"This was a great place to meet for a family get-together. There was enough space for the adults to chat and the kids to run around. The yard was great for a small pickup t-ball game, and the pool was clean and satisfying. We had hot dogs and s'mores around the fire pit and the wood and firestarter were provided. Overall we had an awesome time and made amazing memories."

"We stayed for 3 nights - house was clean and as advertised. Nice quiet neighborhood, nice backyard, we enjoyed sitting and watching birds and BBQing in the yard. Good location, easy to and from airport, and Louisville, waterfront park and pedestrian bridge were nice and close. House was clean, kitchen had what we needed. Would recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in this area."

"Booked the Highlands Hideaway for a Bourbon trip with my sons & brother. Property location was great, easy access to Whiskey Row, and quick access to highways leading to the more rurally located distilleries. Just a few blocks away from many restaurants, craft breweries and shops. Highly recommend this property."

"Overall, very happy with our stay. We needed somewhere for the PGA Championship and it was certainly close enough to downtown Louisville for us. The neighborhood was nice and food/other necessities are close by. The home worked for our group of friends, but I do wish for a little more from the home. It felt like a home that was flipped, which isn’t a bad thing, but there are some things that could’ve been improved. For example, the windows used to have curtains and now they only have blinds....

"We checked in on Friday afternoon. We walked to many of the local restaurants that were within blocks of this house. We had a wonderful time. The common areas are very nice and each bedroom was very comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet . We loved sitting out on the porch and talking in the evening."
