Overall it was a decent hotel.
The woman at the front desk during the day was friendly and was able to get me checked in three hours early. However, there were a few instances where I went to the front desk and she wasn’t wearing her mask.
I had booked a king room however when I got there I was told there were no king rooms available, so that was disappointing. However then I read the small print on Expedia and realized that it didn’t guarantee a room type. Next time I’ll be sure to book directly through the hotel.
Pros:
The bed was comfortable and the pillows were incredible.
The view of the Riverwalk from the room was beautiful.
Easy and quick checkin and checkout.
Safe location.
Cons:
There was a strange moldy smell coming from the bathroom sink.
One of the towels in my bathroom had a large yellow stain on it.
The phone had a smear of something on it, which came right off when I wiped it with a sanitizer wipe. So I’m not sure how thoroughly the room was cleaned.
There was hair in the shower.
I manage a hotel in Boston so I may be a bit more critical of hotels than others. Also, I didn’t bring any of this up to staff while I was there because it was so minor. Therefore I can’t say whether or not they would have fixed the issues.
Overall it was a nice stay and I’d recommend it.
