Leuk, klein hotel middenin het Financial District.

Posted 4-May-2016

Best Kept Secret Near Wall Street

Posted 2-May-2016
Pros: We loved everything about this hotel including the easy access to things like the Brooklyn Bridge, 911 Memorial, City Hall, Battery Park to name a few
Location: This hotel is located literally a five minute walk from Wall Street and Battery Park. Brooklyn is a ten minute Subway ride away as is Times Square.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everything you could need is within a 5 minute walk - including the subway. Rooms were incredibly clean, breakfast was great, Wifi excellent, and staff were knowledgable and very helpful. The area is steeped in history and so interesting. We would definitely return and certainly recommend it. The hotel is small but the rooms are very spacious and well appointed. You will love it!!

Nice Hotel.

Posted 26-Apr-2016
Pros: Clean Hotel and very close to the subway.
Location: Everything is just a subway ride away. Brooklyn is one stop, Chinatown and little Italy not much farther.
Its a very clean and nice looking hotel. The staff were nice and the rooms were very comfortable. Its also very close to the 2&3 trains which is great. My only slight issue was there is a very large restaurant right outside that takes up an entire street which can be very loud but you get use to it. Overall Great experience.

Lovely hotel good transport locally

Posted 13-Apr-2016
Pros: everything the breakfast was especially good !
Cons: nothing
Location: good location for all amenities
This was the second time we had stayed at this wonderful hotel. The staff are very efficient and very friendly. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is close to all transport links on the subway and handy for such attractions as the 9/11 monument and trips to the statue of liberty etc.

Good place to explore lower Manhattan

Posted 5-Apr-2016
Pros: the romm was clean and the breakfast was good
Cons: the staff could be a little more friendly.....
Location: lower Manhattan, financial district
We had a room with 2 queen-size-beds and stayed there with our two little Kids (3 + 6 yrs). The room was nice and small but spacy enough to stay there for three nights. There is a nice continental breakfast, that makes a good start for the day. The Hotel is located in a good walking distance to the financial district, battery park and the Brooklyn Bridge and close to some bars and restaurants. we enjoyed our stay very much.

Excellent Front Desk Staff

Posted 24-Mar-2016
Pros: Pleasant surprise. Reasonable, especially when you factor in free breakfast. Not a 4-star, but better than most 3 stars I generally avoid.
Location: Just two blocks from the heart of Wall Street and near Cipriani.
Having never stayed in the neighborhood before, I had lots of questions about everything. The front desk staff was extraordinarily helpful. Like having a concierge. Excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants and how to most efficiently get around the neighborhood.

Excellent downtown location.

Room was fine but the wardrobe was a joke - way 2 small for 1 let alone 2. Grumpy check in staff- why can't people make more of an effort. It doesn't hurt to smile a bit. More effort also needed to make sure the breakfast room is managed to accommodate the numbers.

Perfect Lower Manhattan Hotel

Posted 21-Mar-2016
Pros: Quite hotel with all the facilities you need
Cons: Nothing
Location: Close to Battery Park, some of the boat cruises, Staten Island Ferry (free to use) and the World Trade Centre site
We chose this hotel for its competitive price and the good reviews. While not near midtown Manhattan, it was a perfect base for exploring New York being close to the subway system which is cheap to use. If arriving at JFK the subway trains take you straight to Broad Street which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel so it is easy to get to with public transport. At night is was generally a quiet area for Manhattan so a restful sleep is assured. Continental breakfast is sufficient to start the day. Being a smaller hotel it was more friendly than the larger chain hotels. Our room provided two double beds with a good bathroom and plenty of storage - in Manhattan you don't need anything than more than this.
