The staff here were all so very friendly and helpful!!! We were given great local dining recommendations as we had arrived earlier than check-in and looking for lunch. Our check-in process was also super smooth and we were able to store our luggage prior to receiving our rooms which allowed us to explore the area around us while waiting. Front desk staff were also quite knowledgeable of the immediate area as well as transportation into the city which was only a short walk from the hotel. The surrounding neighborhood was charming and we felt safe to walk the blocks to and from the metro station as well as the convenience shops up the road. The hotel and rooms were very clean as should be expected. Our a/c worked fabulously!!! Breakfast was a full buffet each morning with plenty of options and staff were constantly refilling as well as tidying the dining area for new guests. Overall a wonderful experience and I would definitely return!!

We were impressed with this property for cleanliness, and overall value. The breakfast was great, and the staff very attentive. The shuttle to and from the airport was a bonus. We found the hotel quiet, and comfortable. Easy access to bus or subway into Manhattan. We would stay there again!

This property was clean and easily accessible for our travel needs. The airport shuttle was why I chose this hotel but unfortunately my flight was too early to take advantage of this free ride. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Although the hotel is clean and maintained the surrounding area is rather run down. We did venture out and walked to a restaurant that was about 15 minutes from the hotel. I felt uncomfortable and I don’t know I would do this walk after dark. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good with the staff interacting with guests. Kept food offerings topped up, tables cleaned and trash emptied regularly. We also used the shuttle to La Guardia Airport which arrived and delivered us in a timely manner. Thanks Holiday Inn Woodside.
