Hotel is in a great location. Beautiful when you enter…but rooms are a bit drab and dated. We had a double room…the beds we a bit bigger than twin beds which I know is very European but odd. Over all stay was nice.

Great location near Bryant Park, Grand Central, transportation resources and Times Square/theaters. We have stayed here many times. Very comfortable. Bathroom large for NYC. Only disconcerting issue since last time is the installation of a soap/shampoo console on the shower wall making it very difficult to get into or out from the shower. A hand help shower is available for tun users.

Hotel is attractive and quiet - something I find at most of these hotels. But it should have some way to get a drink or snack after room service shuts down around 11 pm - I had to leave the hotel and walk 2 or 3 blocks to a bodega. Also, a couple of light bulbs were out, and tv remote (or cable system) was not completely functional - for which I'll give them a pass, this time.

Definitely a place i would go to again. It was definitely worth it for even a one night stay. It was very quiet, no one bothered. It was very clean and the staff was very kind.

We had a lovely week stay at the Sofitel, all the staff were helpful & friendly, love the atmosphere in the bar, just wish it was open to later, our room was just a standard room, but was absolutely fine, and was cleaned everyday, breakfast is expensive, and sometimes there were problems,,, toast undercooked, toast burnt,,,, but not the end of the world, easy to get to all main attractions, would definitely recommend this hotel, and will go back.
