Great location near Court Square subway stops- 1 stop into midtown Manhattan. A no-frills property but exceptionally clean, and helpful and friendly staff. I'd take that as a trade-off for superficial lotions and frills any time!

Staff and proximity to the subway was great, easy access to Manhattan. The hotel is a bit worn but the cleanliness of the place was impeccable. The area is half industrial.

We stayed at the LIC hotel for 7 nights. The location was great, 2 blocks from the subway. Breakfast exceeded my expectations- cereal, fruit, bagels, toast, plus hot food everyday too. Washed down with juice, tea or coffee. Also good to have access to tea and coffee 24 hours in the foyer. Our room was clean and well presented. The bathroom also had everything we required. Any staff we spoke to were polite and helpful. Thank you LIC hotel, we are glad we chose to stay with you when visiting New York!

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. An absolute steal for the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the housekeeping staff did a phenomenal job cleaning the room, remaking the beds, providing towels and more soap. The breakfast provided was good as well. All of these plus the location of the hotel in LIC (very close to Manhattan), made commuting into Manhattan very easy. There are two subway stations (E line, and 7 line) very close to the hotel, so that also helped a lot. I would highly recommend staying here if you're visiting NYC and want to visit Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn with ease.

Room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent and a big savings in NYC. Staff was friendly and helpful. One subway stop from midtown Manhattan. On the negative side, good luck trying to get a good nights sleep if you are unlucky enough to get a room in the front facing the street. 24 hour traffic and noise. Bring ear plugs and then you'll be okay. The lighting in the bathroom was ridiculous. One dim bulb over the sink makes it difficult to shave or put on make-up. I was lucky that I didn't chop off my nose while shaving! Management should spend a few more cents on a MUCH brighter bulb.
