The staff at the hotel were very friendly and polite. At the time of our stay the hotel was undergoing external renovations. It looked awful, but it did not impact our stay. We heard no noise. The lobby area is very basic, but beautiful. The rooms didn't quite look like the pictures, but they were clean. The beds and bedding need to be replaced, thankfully we didn't spend much time sleeping. The bathrooms were clean but definitely in need of some updates. While I enjoyed my stay, next time I will try a different hotel.

The location was excellent! The room was smaller than expected (no refrigerator). Good temperature throughout hotel and I appreciated having coffee in the morning. I was disappointed in the signage about Wine Hour from 5pm - 6pm each night, but nowhere to be found when we showed up. The first night they said the bartender didn't show up. I guess the same happened for the next evening. Why have up the signs if it isn't going to happen? Either remove the sign, or sit a few bottles out for guests to self serve. My relaxation/sleep was occasionally interrupted by a high pitched sound within the walls/ceiling in the bathroom. Maybe it was plumbing in the room above? I contacted the front desk and they immediately sent maintenance to my room. Fortunately, I'd recorded the sound for them to hear since it didn't happen while they were there. They had no answers but offered for me to contact them again if I heard it. Ironically, I never heard the sound again. It was so nice to sleep in peace and relax the next day. I would stay here again but would make sure to ask for a room with a refrigerator and avoid the room with the high pitched sound.

I only stayed for one night but the staff were helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was a great one. The hotel was very clean and located in a great area with easy parking access. As a female traveling alone I felt safe which is extremely important. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again soon.

This property is located in a great area. Walking distance to everything. The first time I stayed here I got a very small rooms The second time, they provided me with a bigger room which was great. The only problem was that the room was very noisy. I could hear the sound of the air conditioner from the window. It sounded just like the noise of the freeway. Moreover, the air conditioning in my room was not central, so very noisy when turned on. Other than that, I was very pleased with this hotel and I would stay here again.

Overall good choice! The room (low one mattress bed) was small, sorta tight with luggage, but for 2 people it was doable, especially for the price. Recently renovated/updated, clean, quiet hotel (just usual outside NYC noise). Love the location in proximity to Times sq, Broadway, Radio City area...all walkable. But far enough away not in the craze and crowd. No doorman and steps required to drag your luggage inside. But for price, appearance and location worth coming back to again!

The property inside the building was great, but outside is next to some old abandoned buildings which make it unappealing. That being said once you get inside the stay is fantastic, and the staff and very attentive and friendly.

Extremely nice, and helpful, staff. Clean rooms (though, bathrooms could use stronger fans to pull heat and moisture out - after the 4th person in a row showers it's beyond a sauna feel). Felt safe and secure, even walking back at night. Check in/out were a breeze. Luggage stowed with bellhop before checkin and after checkout to maximize our time in the city. Overall, would recommend and stay again.
