It is a 5-minute walk to the ocean, or you may drive and park in the private beach parking lot. The upper level of the house offers an open floor plan which includes the living room with cathedral ceilings, the dining area, gourmet kitchen. The master bedroom and bathroom are located on the upper level as well. Exit the upper level floor through 2 sets of sliding glass doors which open up to a wrap around deck equipped with a gas grill, lounge chairs, and patio dining set. The living room has a gas fireplace and a large flat-screen TV. There are two additional flat-screen TVs located in two of the bedrooms. A retractable awning on the upper deck will keep you cool and comfortable on sunny days as you relax outside listening to the sound of the ocean. The lower level has three spacious bedrooms and a full bathroom. In addition, the house has an outdoor shower, a gas grill, central air-conditioning, and wireless Internet. \*\*Community Public Swimming Pool, Tennis and Golf at Montauk Downs State Park. Horseback riding, biking, fishing, and water sports are all close by. REVIEW NOVEMBER 2020: "Everything about this weekend stay was a 10 plus! The house could not have been more perfect! No details were missed by these great hosts. The furnishing, the appliances and the comfort of all the rooms were perfect! It was a great location for a family dinner and a bucket list dream! Marie Louise was thoughtful and attentive from our first conversation until we checked out. We enjoyed making forever memories! We went for a Siblings Weekend. We are all 60+ in age and it was wonderful. It was in January and it rained the whole weekend but the house is so warm and cozy. The host was extremely helpful with suggestions of where to dine and things to do. Although at that time of year many places are closed for the season there were still local places to eat and drink and enjoy. The house was immaculate with many amenities and the host is wonderful to deal with. We would love to go back again… maybe make this a tradition for us. ##### Linda C. Marie Louise was so thoughtful, and got us a crib, brand new crib sheets, and a bottle of wine! I couldn’t believe all of her thoughtful touches, including the frequent check-ins and detailed messages. Her property is clean and all of the amenities were so wonderful. It’s really a great location for fishing, going to the beach, or shopping. Can’t wait to return! ##### Christine K. We are so glad that we rented this house. It had 4 bedrooms and a great upstairs with open living room with a gas fireplace, beautiful kitchen and dining room. It has everything needed for a great vacation stay. It is located in Hither Hills, it's a short walk to the beach, and quick drive to the town of Montauk. the House is lovely, comfortable with a huge deck that's perfect for outdoor dining. Mary Louise is one the most responsive and accommodating hosts we have ever stayed with. She was always available for any questions we had and her home is absolutely beautiful. A short walk from the beach and a few minutes driving from great restaurants. The neighborhood was so peaceful and quiet as well.
