Hard Rock Hotel San Diego

8/10 Good

"The property is in an amazing location. The rooms are nice and clean. The amenities are super lacking. There’s not a whole lot to do there. There is one bar that doesn’t open until 4 PM. There is one store, but it’s not a traditional hotel gift shop it. It’s more geared towards hard rock merchandise and doesn’t have all of the necessities you might need. The pool is not impressive at all. And it’s $75 a day to park a car even if you are already paying for your room. The location makes it worth it because it’s walking distance to so many other things. But I have stayed at other hard rock locations that have way more amenities."

"The hotel is great, very close to Little Italy, the staff was amazing, and the hotel is across the street from a nice dog park. The only issue we had was the parking. We drove a large SUV and the ramps in the garage and spaces were very small. Parking was VERY challenging."

"Overall stay was great! Check in was easy. Rooms were cleaned daily. Blackout curtains were exactly that! Pool area was pretty, especially at night. Felt safe there. Small cons: feel $24 a night for parking is a bit much. Landscaping around lot could be upkept a little better. I paid for premium room thinking it was close to pool. Apparently premium just means balcony. Our balcony had a view of all the laundry/linens that were in big carts waiting to be washed. For us, the good outweighed the cons and we would def book again."
