We loved the location of the Bay Club Hotel and Marina. The staff is excellent as well. The room was large and had a lot of storage and closet space. We were very comfortable during our 5 night stay. We will be back again.

When we entered our room, we were met with a dirty rag on the toilet lid that reeked of rotten urine. I promptly brought this to the attention of the front desk and requested that the bathroom be cleaned. However, no one came to clean it. The front desk offered me complimentary parking as a result, but the fee was never removed until I mentioned it at checkout. Additionally, I encountered parking issues one night when I couldn't find a spot for my tall and long sprinter van. The front desk staff advised me to park it in an area in front of the entrance. However, when I did, the security guard accosted me, yelling at me to move it. He didn't care that the staff had told me to park it there and got in my face, frightening my children, and insisted that I park it underground. I warned him that it wouldn't fit, but he persisted. Predictably, I got the van stuck in the underground parking garage, just as I had warned. The garage's design makes it impossible to back out a vehicle of that size. Furthermore, the bathroom had bloodstains on the bottom left part of the door, with a ripped edge, and blood splatter on the wall next to the toilet paper holder.

Our family arrived late and the night staff were kind and accommodating. Parking was challenging because the garage and spaces were narrow and several fellow guests did not take the time or effort to park their vehicles correctly. It appears to be a vintage hotel but the maintenance is adequate. We had an overall pleasant stay.

I would recommend this hotel, the staff are so friendly and very polite. They are so helpful and there are so many restaurants nearby and it's so close to the waterfront. We spent 3 nights at the hotel and it was a very good experience.

Our deck was a huge disappointment. We hardly had room to stand, let alone enjoy the view sitting. I checked with the front desk and they said they were completely full and we couldn't change rooms. The staff were all very friendly and courteous.

We were a family of five (three teenagers) , we showed up after a long day of travel at 7pm. Got to our room and had two beds. We asked where the couch was and they said five people were to sleep in two beds. After that they told us they could get us a roll away. Fine. The other issue we had was our room was supposed to have a view, which it did, but when we opened our balcony door we were staring straight at a couple on a patio at the bar. They were like ‘awkward’ and we felt the same way, so we were unable to sit on our patio. In the morning someone was working on their laptop out there so it was still unavailable to us. So overall we were very disappointed in our stay.

- Old equipment: rust is on a faucet, the door is old and dirty in the bathroom, and the light switch and door handle are dirty. Very noisy from next rooms, you can hear them all the time. Very convenient is the restaurant in the hotel.
