Castles in Lake County

Newer hotel; area still under development

This hotel is in a very convenient spot in Downtown Chicago. It's less than 4 minutes walking from Lasalle Station (blue line),Harrison Station (red line), and several bus lines. That means you can reach all the city's attractions quite easily. The staff was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help. The hotel itself is simple but beautiful and clean (the lobby and sitting area are both really nice). The room was cozy with a great view. Absolutely every corner of the room and the...

Making people feel special must be their superpower because I was pleasantly surprised by a special gift I received for my birthday. The staff was always courteous, helpful and friendly. I loved that the lobby where they had a few games you could play but was so relaxing and quiet that there were several people just sitting around and chatting. The hotel was convenient, clean and staff are courteous. The breakfast was fresh and coffee was hot. Great place for tired traveler.

Everything was very good. Check In and check out was short and smooth. Breakfast was good. The room, the whole hotel was very clean.

Excellent hotel!

I wanted to express my positive experience during my recent stay. The hotel was great, the staff were very helpful, and the rooms were clean. It was also very well located, being close to all the exhibitions.

The room is spacious and the bedding is comfortable. The washroom is sparkling clean. The breakfast buffet is an excellent addition to our stay. We all love it.

Fantastic reno of a beautiful Art Deco historical building. One of the most comfortable hotels I’ve stayed at. Love the lobby bar and restaurant which has a fantastic happy hour! Highly recommend and will make a point of staying again.

Nice staff. Good hot breakfast. Had nice free dinner the night I stayed. Free wifi and parking. Kitchenette with oven, microwave and dishwasher. Large size fridge. Brief but pleasant stay.

Les chambres sont propres et très confortable. Le buffet déjeuner est très bien et l’emplacement est parfait pour visiter la ville. Bon rapport qualité prix

Large, spacious rooms that had a nice seating area. Staff were very helpful, and they had lots of amenities (eg laundry machines with free detergent, large gym). Free breakfast was of stellar quality. Location is also very close to just about everything.

Visiting from Canada and stayed at Hotel 505. We had an amazing stay!!! Received a complimentary bottle of wine as we were celebrating our anniversary, nice surprise. Loved the rooftop terrace, which we were able to enjoy during this beautiful Fall weather. Our room had a corner view, was very clean and spacious . Hotel is centrally located and felt very safe. Good job Hotel 505.
