"They gave me a late checkout (2 hours extension) for no additional charge. Staff tried to talk in English with me, and was very helpful. Breakfast was amazing also, and very cheap! No laundry machines on premises but just around the corner on the second floor of a net cafe is a laundromat (can get crowded, I think your best bet is going during the day instead of late night)."

"professional staff that was very helpful in helping me in receiving and sending my luggage bags. the hotel was very nice, with clean rooms and a atmospheric lobby. the hotel itself is in a quiet area, but still close enough to walk to the busier areas and especially close to popular temples and other similar areas. when needing to go further distances both bus and train were easily accessible. this is my second time at this hotel and my preferred option everytime I'm in Kyoto "
