"We stayed in a first-floor room for two nights and it was an unpleasant experience from the start. The floors in this aging building transmit every footstep from above, making sleep virtually impossible. When we requested a room change, the front desk assured us the upstairs guests had checked out — only for a new guest to check in late that night, and the noise problem repeated itself. The issue is clearly structural, not behavioral, which makes the front desk's dismissal even more frustrating. On top of that, we discovered the ice machine filter had not been changed in two years. That is a basic maintenance and hygiene issue that should never be overlooked. The bottom line: this property is significantly overdue for a renovation. The infrastructure is aging, maintenance is being neglected, and guest concerns are not being taken seriously. If you must stay here, insist on a second-floor room — it is the only way to avoid the noise issue. As for us, we will not be returning."

"It seems like the hotel was under construction, overall clean staff was friendly, the area was quiet, limited amenities, not far from sight seeing areas, it was good for a 1 night stay."

"My wife, my sister-n-law, my son and I stayed here the night before the 2026 Los Angeles Marathon. We picked this location because it was close to the marathon starting line and offered a shuttle from the hotel to the starting line for runners since there was no way to walk to Dodger Stadium. This hotel turned out to be perfect for the marathon. We stayed in room 1652 and even though we were a little early for our check-in our room was cleaned and ready for our arrival. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and made the check-in very smooth. There is FREE WiFi if you need it. The bed was super comfortable and the room was very spacious. No need to bring dongles because there were plenty of USB ports to plug our devices into. Parking was valet only for $59 a night or your could park in the garage next to the hotel for $8.99 per night. This hotel was very clean and has been unkept very well, but if you explored around at all you could see that back in the glory days this was the place. There were several spots for business, restaurants, that were just sitting empty. A sign of the changing times. If you are participating in the Los Angeles Marathon and do not want to deal with traffic and parking. I would stay here. My rating: BEST"

"Was received right away from valet, the receptionist Ulysses was very nice friendly welcoming had everything ready to make a fast check in. The hotel itself is the most beautiful and cleanest hotel I’ve ever been in. Room was spacious comfortable very clean again. If we’re ever back in the area definitely coming back here"
