"Hampton doesn’t pretend to be five star. No marble. No awesome lobby. But the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean; the bed was the best. Outlets for electronics charging were plenty. The TV wasn’t intuitive or easy to use but I didn’t go there for TV. Breakfast was better than most, hot, well tended and clean. HVAC worked. The place was convenient and well worth the price."

"My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. We had a great stay. Our room was spacious and clean. The location is great for site seeing. The food at the bar in the lobby was delicious and convenient for us. The staff was all very friendly. I would definitely recommend staying at this property if you want to be in Hollywood."

"Scrupulously clean. Very noisy. No street noise but the HVAC system was either ancient or damaged or both. The A/C worked fine despite sounding like a rattling laundromat. The first room I was given had such a loud, repetitive humming noise that I asked to be given a different room. The second room still had the loud, repetitive machine noise but it was at least a little more muted. Safe, covered, inexpensive parking ($15/day, which is cheap for LA). WiFi worked great. TV was easy to work and allows you to log in to your own streaming account. (Remember to logout after!) The beds were comfortable with multiple very nice pillows on each bed. Ask for a room away from the elevators because the doors are not very thick. My door didn’t have a security device or a cover for the peephole thing. Nice, large windows with full blackout curtains. No pool/hot tub. Really just the rooms and a small lobby. Close to DTLA and Koreatown, convenient to USC. "

"This place looks entirely unrecognizable from the photos. The building is sketchy and the room was literally falling apart. The bathroom had a bottle opener mounted to the counter that was falling off the wall. The rooms have SHARED balconies that connect multiple rooms and anyone can just look into your room or try to open your door. The overall cleanliness was poor. The room and bed were uncomfortable. Would not stay here again and definitely feel that I over paid for the quality received. Staff were all nice though. "

"Very outdated hotel Has a lot of historic architecture but the rooms need major upgrades The parking is $50 a night and it’s across the street from the hotel The beds and pillows were horrible Rooms are very small Bathrooms were old and outdated with yellow lighting Elevator was slow and it felt like it was going to go down any minute Stairs are squeaky with dim lighting, very unsafe. Overall a bad experience and not worth the price"

"Very nice, vibey, hotel in the heart of Hollywood. Great view of Hollywood sign. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and theaters. Very close to Pantages and Fonda. The room, itself, was by far the smallest I've ever stayed in. Literally, only big enough for a king size bed. Couldn't really sit anywhere or watch TV from bed (Bed parallel to TV). The cost is fairly high at $400. Not sure I'd stay here again, unless it was a quick trip, and only needing place to sleep."
