"Such a fantastic location and home! We came with my two young children and my parents and we had a wonderful time! You can’t beat the location, it is across the street from the park, and you can walk to all the main stores and restaurants and it’s a short walk to the beach! "

"We had a great stay. Easy check in process. Home was clean and well equipped. We loved using the stand up paddle board and kayaks. Cape Charles has a great beach with easy parking, warm water, and minimal waves. Our dog had a great time playing in the water in the mornings. "

"Overall great experience and would stay again. Proximity to beach was great. Games, Puzzles, and DVD collection was a fun bonus for the kids. A few minor improvements could put this place over the top. Because they’re older, some doors don’t close fully and none of them lock. Some extension cords with charging stations in the bedrooms would be a nice touch. The lower level does get warmer than the upper level but the fans help make it manageable. We did appreciate the number of hooks available for hanging wet towels and swimsuits. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. The outdoor hose and shower and the indoor mud room shower were great. Off street parking and outlet for a golf cart was also nice. Great experience overall and the owners were very helpful with any questions. Another fun summer at Cape Charles. "

"My family of three stayed for a week in the peak season. The location and house were great. We don’t like when the beach is crazy busy, and this spot was perfect. The house included enough basics that we didn’t really need to use what we brought, save a couple items we preferred our own over what was there.We had an issue with the hot water, which we contacted the owner about halfway through our stay. They got a plumber out quickly but they weren’t able to fully solve the issue during our stay. Honestly; it wasn’t a huge deal for us considering the rest of the house was great, and we were pretty much only sleeping there.Turned out to be a great week. Will absolutely consider staying again for future vacations."
