The rooms were comfortable with a fantastic view of the water. The beach was accessible from the house. The host, Mike, was very friendly and prepared a wonderful breakfast each morning, so much that I couldn’t quite finish it. Delicious. This was my second visit, and it was just as lovely as the first. The cleanliness of the room is beyond any five-star establishment that I have stayed in. And the breakfast that is cooked by the Host Mike puts any breakfast I've had in any dining establishment to shame! The room was comfortable and well stocked. The cooling was controlled for the floor and was a little too cool until 10pm. Breakfast was terrific! My only poor experience was with the host who served and then sat at breakfast with the five guests. After a small amount of checking in with everyone, he (and the other male guest) dominated the conversation. The view from our room was stunning. Mike was an excellent host and we enjoyed talking with him. His knowledge of the history of the area was an added bonus to our stay. Breakfast was a real treat with an Italian egg dish, homemade muffins. sausage,fruit,juice and coffee. The balcony and view were amazing. The owner, Mike, was hospitable and super friendly. He made you feel welcomed and at home. The breakfast he made was delicious. I would highly recommend Baywood to anyone going to the Eastern Shore.
