« As we were driving a series of long winding roads to this property we said to ourselves, “this place is going to have to be really nice to be worth the drive.” And it was. The nature sounds were amazing. Eating every meal on the lanai was lovely. The kids fought over who got to sleep on the lanai. It’s close to a beautiful black sands clothing-optional beach, and otherwise there’s not much to do out there. It’s not the best jumping off point for lots of island touring, but it’s the perfect spot...

« Fabulous place to stay! Everything was clean and the processes were easy to follow. When I needed help it was immediately available. Traveling alone I didn’t need a two bedroom but it was a delicious indulgence in a great location and very comfortable, at a very fair price. I’m glad I found it and I would stay again. « I spent 10 nights here in November. This is a very clean cottage, very well maintained. The owner/host is awesome and was in the area taking care of his other cottages so I spoke with him a couple times. He even stopped by and dropped off a new air fryer for me one day. Worked out great for fish and crabcakes from Pahoa. What’s incredible about this place is the location. It’s right in the middle of the red road along the south eastern cliffs of the big island. this is easily the closest...

Sharon and Steve worked with us and VRBO to help us straighten everything out. And we spent 3 days in the area and it was beautiful. Every day was a new adventure. »

« Our stay was exactly what we expected based on the photos and description. The hosts stayed in great communication and gave us very clear driving instructions, including for arriving at night in an unlit area. The house was impeccably clean and well-decorated, and it was fabulous being on the property in the quiet with the starlit sky and sounds from the trees. The ping pong table was a great bonus! »

"I have never had such a disappointing experience. And I think I can compare. I have traveled to more than 70 countries. Makes all of Africa, the Arab countries. In addition to abandoned exteriors, cars are demolition materials. The property absolutely not maintained. Was extremely dirty!!! Hair, hair, smells, not to mention cobwebs. It's cold and wet. It is very poorly soundproofed the housing is shared. But is not designed for. No need to respond to my comment as you did to others, you had seen from my arrival that I was not at all satisfied. What a relief to leave these places. I'm ashamed for myself to have accepted this. Je n’ai jamais vécu une expérience aussi décevante. Et je penses pouvoir comparer. J’ai voyagé dans plus de 70 pays. Fait toute l’Afrique, les pays arabes. Outre les extérieurs laissés à l’abandon, voitures matériaux de démolitions. La propriété absolument pas entretenue. S’était extrêmement sale !!! Des poiles des cheveux des odeurs sans parler des toiles d’araignées. Il fait froid humide. C’est très mal insonorisé le logement est partagé. Mais n’est pas conçu pour. Pas la peine de répondre à mon commentaire comme vous l’avez fait aux autres, vous aviez vu des mon arrivée que je n’étais pas du tout satisfait. Quel soulagement de quitter ces lieux. J’ai honte pour moi même d’avoir accepté ça. "
