« Great location for exploring Hilo, Volcanoes and Pahoa area. We stayed a week and enjoyed staying here. We’d stay here again. Only complaint is the lack of hot water for showers as the water was just lukewarm. »

« Great little house next to the owner's house. Not a lot of space but cozy. Owner is easy to reach and answers questions quickly. Warm welcome. However the location is not that convenient as it is a good 25 min from Hilo, and the roosters and dogs of the neighborhood are very noisy at night... »

« Just like camping. Carpet had not been vacuumed. There was one light and one outlet that could only be used for charging devices. No hair dryer or curling iron use. Two towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. Bathroom sink was only plumbed for cold water. Shower liner was peeling and there was no bathroom light. Common area was not clean. »

However, we were initially given the wrong gate code, which caused a bit of confusion. « Very clean & nicely decorated, however would sacrifice adorement for more functional surfaces. No normal upholstered chairs & kitchenette very difficult to function in. Internet marginal for working vacationers & didn't recall ceiling height in loft being mentioned (too low to stand up) Hot tub was a real bonus yet having dry towels was a challenge. Great location for National Volcano Park but pretty far from beaches. »

« Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids(8 & 5 years old) stayed at the Ohana house for one night. Check in and check out process, communication with the host everything was smooth. We had a wonderful stay at this location. »
