"This place is best described as a budget motel, similar to a low-cost inn in a less developed neighborhood. The room was extremely small — once the bed was in, there was essentially no remaining space. It felt very cramped and outdated. The air conditioner was positioned in a way that blew directly onto the bed and face, making it uncomfortably cold, and there was a musty smell throughout the room. The staff appeared friendly, but the service was lacking in basic ways. For example, we were told to go down to the first floor to use the only bottle opener, and when we requested two basic plates, we were given disposable ones, which was quite surprising. In over 15 years of travel and more than 30 hotels, this was the first time I encountered a place that only had one bottle opener for shared use and provided disposable plates. Breakfast consisted mainly of processed meats such as hot dogs, sausages, and bacon on rotation, so there were no fresh or high-quality protein options available. The only advantages were its proximity to Waikiki and the ocean view."

"House keeping was slacking every day skipping vacuuming and getting the dirty towels and cleaning. The carpet had so many stains all over the property. I spotted so much sands right behind our beds. The breakfast was tasteless and blah. Even the coffee wasn't great. We spotted a bug getting into miso soup one day ar breakfast buffet. The hotel was old and dirty. the lights inside the bathroom were too dimmed. The TV keeps disconnecting during storm. The elevators took forever, very annoying. The pool wasn't heated & it was so small."

"I like that the Ali'i tower was more quiet and have their own private pool and fitness center. We had a beautiful view and the staff were amazing especial Razel. The rooms were a little out dated and a microwave would help if you stay longer. Other than that, hotel was clean and the resort is overall beautiful. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops."

"Staff is so nice, friendly and accommodating. Location is perfect, walking distance to the beach and Ala Moana mall. W-line bus stop is right in-front of the hotel, easy commute to the airport. Parking is safe and secure. Great place to stay for a quick vacation! "
