The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly, amazing hospitality.

I have stayed at Hotel St. Denis several times. I like the location close to Old Montreal and the cleanliness. However, due to road construction in the neighbourhood it took me a long time to find my way to the hotel since it is also on a one way street. I feel the hotel needs to explain how to get to the hotel. When I tried to call twice nobody answered which left me very frustrated. I did express my frustration to the receptionist.

Conveniently located, right at the train station, within easy walking distance of the Old Town, McGill, two major museums, etc. While there was no free internet service (it has to be paid), and the room was relatively small, it was quiet, scrupulously clean and well equipped. A very good place to stay in downtown Montreal.
