Stayed a total of 3 nights, solo traveller. I felt very safe there - need your key card to even enter the lobby and then again the elevators. Everything was neat and clean. Rooms and facilities were spacious. Lockers could easily hold luggage and there was more space beneath the bed. It is located right by the train so you do hear it when it passes by. This never bothered me but I know it would others. Would definitely book again when coming back to Chicago.

Good location, walking distance from amtrak station, sears towers. There is easy bus route right by the block. Lots of food options in walking distance. Target, marianos are nearby. Nice neighborhood. There is small kitchenette with fewer stuff. Coffee available bit you need to use water from kitchen sink.
Bathroom, shower doors doesn't have locks nor full privacy. Old buildings with noisy stairs. To store the bag during checkout day you need to pay extra.

Very easy to check in, never even met anyone from the property. It's all done with codes and the instructions were very clear.
I think the only thing I didn't like is that I was charged extra on the day of the check in and I wasn't aware I'll need to also pay for a "cleaning fee" and some tax that I had to send over PayPal.
