"The hotel is a landmark facility in Shanghai. The historic features are well maintained, and they have a tour for guests to see the museum and some amenities. Well managed. Great location and great services. Impressive. "
"It’s a bit far from what’s happening in the center of Shanghai. Unit we were in was smaller than pictured. We’ve stayed twice in this trip. The second unit smells really bad and isn’t clean."
"Nice boutique hotel in great location. Ray the concierge was fantastic, very helpful and friendly with good English. Excellent breakfast. Our room was very nice but the aircon wouldn’t drop below 22.5 which was a bit hot for a comfortable sleep in the heat of the summer and the water leaked from the shower into the toilet area making the floor very slippery. "
"Fantastic service from the reception team, very clean rooms to a high standard
Great location for metro and shops and great restaurants just 2 minutes walk to nanjing road
10 minutes walk to the bund which is an amazing site as it lights up"
"Hotel is fine but albeit a bit dated I feel. Not a far walk to some malls and Bund/Nanjing Road.
*Not sure if the bar Char is run by hotel but if it is they need a new manager as his attitude is terrible and is the reason I won’t stay again. He pretty much made it his mission to try not let us in bar, even though we were staying guests with friends and also a dinner reservation. He needs a attitude adjustment ASAP"
