A few years ago we stayed at the Hilton, just down the beach from this hotel. I chose this hotel this time due to it's location on the beach and proximity to restaurants and shopping. This hotel is much quieter and we felt so relaxed here. We will definitely be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Special thanks to ALL of the Outrigger staff who seriously made this stay pleasurable!! Some names to remember - Ambrose at check in, Le Ann who was able to very last minute order a haiku flower crown for me, Cherwin at the Cultural center, literally ALL the staff at the Kani Ka Pa Pila Grille (great food!) and Devina at Housekeeping. Because of these staff but literally everyone, we will definitely be back! Can’t wait til Monkeypod opens. Only thing we wish to change was the beach amenities. Wish there was hotel provided chairs and umbrella vs having to pay for it, since you pay a resort fee anyways. Speaking of which, we really appreciated the provided activists that were included in the resort fees as you never really get to see what you pay for at other hotels. We were happy to take advantage of the lei making and vow renewal (10/10 recommend)! Overall very amazing stay and we can’t wait to be back as this was just a pleasurable “baby moon”! Thank you Outrigger Reef!!

Staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay. The only drawback is the daily parking fee of $45.00 per day on top of the resort fee.

Pros: Staff is very nice! Location is the best! Rooms and property are clean! Breakfast is good at the hotel’s grill. Hotel pool is very nice. Lots of loungers and umbrellas. Cons: Bottom of the ocean at hotels beach is rocky. We had to walk to Waikiki beach. Lounges and umbrellas at the beach are to pay for ($30 per 2 hrs). Dinner was not good. Everything is dip fried, although the restaurant is named Grill. Overall nice place to stay at!

Stayed in a partial ocean view, room 1429. Couldn’t have asked for a better view. Our room had 2 balconies. One viewed the ocean and the other the city. Restaurant was good and reasonable. Hotel in process of adding internal shops which will add to the atmosphere.

The staff were amazingly friendly, and the property was so clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the nightly live Hawaiian music at the hotel restaurant, and our view of Diamondhead from our room was stunning. Access to the beach was literally right out the door, and honestly the ease of swimming/snorkeling was probably our only “negative.” While the beach and view was great, the swimming was fairly rocky which made it tricky. But even that was easy to solve because of all of the wonderful beaches in Oahu! We would absolutely stay here again without a moment’s hesitation!
