This artsy village on the slopes of Hualalai volcano showcases local coffee farms and galleries filled with Hawaiian crafts. Explore the Holualoa Art District's historic buildings, then drive to nearby Kailua-Kona for snorkelling among colourful reef fish.
Very comfortable bed, great A/C and view. The only thing was that the rubber baseboard that was glued to the bathtub had accumulated a lot of gunk at the end and needed cleaning.

The location is absolutely amazing being right on the ocean. The restaurant is always really good and I’ve been going there on and off since 2009and have never been disappointed. Nice pool space. Hard to leave.

The only downside to our stay here was that we had to leave! We only had one night booked; our destination was on another part of the island. Even so, we were extended a warm welcome and spoiled by our hosts' generosity (and the view!). The building and its surroundings are lovely--beautifully maintained and the owners have clearly paid a lot attention to detail. All week we reminisced about this place and swore that we'd stay here for the duration of our next trip to the Big Island. Even...

Aston Kona By The Sea is a pleasant 13 minute drive from Kona International Airport through touristy Ali'i Drive, but far enough from the madding crowd to enjoy peace and privacy. Once there, you'll be greeted by warm, accommodating and friendly staff who will welcome you to your home away from home complete with free parking, a full kitchen, and washer/dryer. The daily $12.50 fee is all worth it as they service your unit daily, change the sheets every 5 days or as needed, and replenish the...

This B&B has you living in the jungle among the tree tops. The birds singing during the day and the coqui frogs singing at night made for a truly authentic Hawaiian experience. All staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was always healthy and satisfying. Our room was comfortable and airy. The price was excellent but I strongly recommend booking directly through Dragonfly Ranch's owner. We hope to return soon.

This hotel is wonderful, it's beyond our expectation, we had 2 bedroom suites, which was specious and comfort, love the amenities, but unfortunately we didn't have time to use any of them. I would recommend to stay here for at least five days.
