I have been staying at Mahekal for the last 5 years. Has a very relaxing feel. The staff is always friendly and thankful, food is delicious , drinks are exceptional, will continue to stay there for the years to come !

The facility itself is amazing. The staff is phenomenal. The service is top tier. The spa is the best. The beach is beautiful but current/waves were strong. It’s a quick golf cart ride to the beach and other restaurants/facilities. The food was okay.

The side nearest town is nice, but the other end of the beach is a 15-20 minute walk (or 50 pesos cab ride) and much quieter. Honestly it's not crazy anywhere. No night clubs or spring breakers. Very few teenagers.
