"We simply wanted a warm room with a clean bed and a shower at a reasonable price, and that's what we got. Our room had a larger refrigerator than most motel rooms, along with a microwave and coffee maker. Our only staff interaction was signing in and out, and that was fine. We were in the area for a dance festival and other motels raised their prices for the weekend, but these folks did not."

"Parking was easy and secure. Rooms were comfortable. Tap water was drinkable (I know that doesn't sound like much, but it's not at a lot of the less expensive places). Oh, and the coffee was excellent (and I'm a coffee snob and am quite picky....it was an unexpected bonus). "
