"A wonderful cabin in the Rockies. Quiet, nice views, very clean, well maintained. Easy access by bike or car, convenient to Golden 6k away. While small, it's very comfy for a couple with a fine bed, cozy couch, fine shower, and strong wifi. BBQ on the porch and adirondack chairs on the small deck were a plus for evening sunset watching. Tyler and Aimee are great, friendly, accomodating hosts."

"The property and the staff was wonderful. The only issue was we had reserved a cabin with the a loft and we ended up with a two bedroom cabin instead. Asked about being moved, but the cabin was booked. We never understood how we ended up in the cabin without the loft when that was what we had reserved. Other than that, we loved everything about Baker Creek was fabulous."

"We all loved staying in the Rooster Cabin - I love how it’s at the end of a road and all the windows look out on the woods and fields - it really is a get-away from it all. Loved the comfortable beds and decor and wood burning fire and all the firewood avail for us to use. Thanks so much - we will be back"

"Quiet place to get away from it all. No TV, internet is spotty (which keeps you off of it) and trails to walk to the river and look for wildlife. We were there in March 2024 and the snow was melting, the temp was 15 degrees C and the sun was out. I would go again."

"We had the opportunity to stay at the new cabin tucked into the woods! It was absolutely perfect! It still has the new house smell when you walk in! The cabin is adorable with modern and cozy finishes. There are giant windows with views of the forrest and the surrounding mountains. The covered deck is a perfect place for morning coffee or evening beverages! The cabin has all the amenities that you could ever ask for. "We found this quaint cabin a great place to relax at the end of the day of visiting Yoho and Banff parks. The setting is enjoyable and we were very comfortable in the well-accommodated space. "The cabin was very cozy set on a beautiful property with mountain views. It was a very short drive to town as well as easy access to three national parks. The host was so helpful with local information as well as allowing us to store our bikes in her shed. I will definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to explore the area around Golden."

"This was my second stay at Chancellor Peak. We stayed in chalet #14 which is private with an amazing view of the Peak and the surrounding nature. The chalet complex is located right at the Kootenay River. The area is very quiet and there are bears as well. A black bear came looking for food around the chalets a couple of nights. Overall a great place to stay and good value."
