Great Little Getaway

Very cute house and perfect for a family vacation to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to walk around. Close to downtown and a quick drive to seaside. Would definitely stay here again.

Superb!

Wonderful!!! Peaceful, clean, well equipped, perfect location, five-minute walk to ocean, great beds and shower. The owner was a phone call away to answer questions to help with a TV problem. Make sure you go to the Pacific Bakery for breakfast and the Pacific Cafe for dinner. Wonderful food.

Warm, well appointed home, amenities included!

We had a fantastic relaxing stay at the beautiful beach adjacent home in safe friendly neighborhood. We cooked and grated without exception the mentors met our needs. Kitchen table could seat 8 and we tended to fires every evening. It was a great stay that we will repeat!

Darling Seaside Home

This is the most darling seaside cottage. You can tell it has recently been renovated because everything is updated and beautiful but still has the charm of the area it's located in. The beds were comfortable, it had 3 full bathrooms and one 1/2 bath. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to make our own meals. The location is great, it's in between Astoria and Cannon Beach which were both places we wanted to explore. My only suggestion would b to have window coverings in the master bathroom as felt the neighbors could see straight into the shower. Also it could use a little more seating in the front room, but neither of these things would deter me from renting it again.

Quiet and comfortable accommodations

Very lovely and clean home. Spacious rooms and bathrooms.Kitchen had ample supplies: cooking and baking equipment, plates, utensils, etc, so we did not have to run the dishwasher after each meal. Be sure to bring ice - the fridge does not have an icemaker and there are no ice trays. Beds were comfortable. Showers /bathrooms were very clean and had good water pressure. Wood burning fireplace was very nice as was the available wood. Really close to Seaside for day visit, but nice to return to a quiet neighborhood. Walk to beach was nice and easy, however the house is not beachfront nor does it have a view of the beach. Lovely lawn/garden area, enjoyed having my coffee on the front porch as the sun came up! We would rent this house again.

Cute place in a great location

The place was adorable and in a cute neighborhood. Easy walk to the beach and quick drive to Seaside. The owners were accommodating and very friendly. However, the beds were a bit uncomfortable and so was the couch in the living room. The floors were dirty and sticky, wine down cabinets, coffee splatter on cabinets, dirty/sticky handles on drawers in kitchen, there were cobwebs inside, dead bugs on most windowsills, missing hand soap in bathroom, and watered down hand soap in kitchen. May need to look into a new house cleaner. Also, thought it was strange to have to be in charge of wheeling the trash cans to the street. This was a first and we have rented several houses/cabins over the years.

super cute house on the coast!

The house was nicely decorated and comfortable, and an adorable walk through wavy grass to Gearhart Beach! House is pretty big inside! Two bathrooms upstairs and downstairs. Master suite bath is small. Kitchen is great! Eating and sitting areas great as well! Owner supplies A LOT of essentials like towels bedding cooking utensils etc toys games body wash shampoo etc. House was very clean, but imo could have been deep cleaned more thoroughly. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend!
