This property is in the perfect location and is wonderful if you having mobility issues. There is a full bathroom and bedroom on ground floor with only one step to get up onto the porch. Highly recommend and will try to stay at this location again in the future.

This was the perfect vacation stay for 4 people. Perfect location two blocks from the beach and very clean. Loved the backyard and fenced in, made you feel safe. Definitely will come back.

We enjoyed staying at this house it was in a great location within walking distance to several eating places. We loved that it was so close to the beach. It is fully fenced in property which was really nice. We will definitely stay again :)

We enjoyed our stay in Galveston. The house location was perfect for spending time at the beach and easy walking access to good restaurants. The house is furnished very nicely and the layout is very user friendly. The property is very well protected with fence and gates and carport.

We really enjoyed our stay! Extremely pet friendly even had little treats for our fur babies. Loved the back yard and very conveniently located. The kids enjoyed the place and we loved that we had to full bathrooms. We were able to park our vehicle under the covered area and close the gate behind it which made us feel extra secure and safe. Would definitely stay here again!

Was a perfect spot for the whole family. We walked to 4 different restaurants and a convenient store when we ran out of milk. There was a wagon to get all the stuff down the street to the beach and a pack & play with clean sheets when we arrived. It was comfortable, clean, & quiet. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable home. The owner is responsive and available to answer questions. It was easy to access through the key lock box. They provide nice touches to the property to make sure you have what you need for your stay. It is two blocks from the beach, so very accessible. We walked to the beach and used the wagon to haul our gear.

Loved the property, The house was in good shape and had several amenities that most places do not offer. Just like the description, was a short walk to the beach in a good neighborhood. Was also a gated property which helped everyone feel more secure. However, the gates were not automatic and became an incovniencne. Other than this was in our top three best stays next to two several million dollar homes we got to stay in. The price to stay at this house is certainly a pay less for more type of deal.

Even better than the listing implies. Great location. Beautiful little house. Small but plenty of space. You will not go wrong. All you need are your clothes and shoes. Can see the water from the upstairs. Had a problem with the front door lock but got it straightened out within minutes.

We loved staying here! Small cute little house with everything you could need! Beach towels were provided which was a major plus for us! Less to pack! They had dog treats for our babies and a cute backyard with a grill that was perfect. On Friday night we were able to sit in the back yard and listen to live music from the Tavern a block away! We loved the covered driveway and that it was completely gated and we could secure the gates at night. Felt very safe. Would definitely stay here again! It was an easy check in and we really loved how close we were to everything and just a short drive to Jamaica beach for a little less crowded beach spot.

After a long drive we arrived at the property around 10:30 PM. My GPS gave me a wrong turn and I was unable to find the property. A quick call to owner was answered immediately and she gave me a correction to the directions. Thank you. After that our stay was great. Relaxing, one block from the beach and close to many restaurants. I only wish the master bedroom had been downstairs. Great stay.

I came for a quick weekend alone with my dog for my birthday. I come every year with her and my daughter, so we are quite familiar with the town and Seawall area. The house is at the end of the street and only a few streets form the Seawall, so I found it incredibly convenient and easy to get to and from. I enjoyed a birthday dinner at Gaido’s, as they recommended, and it is a couple minutes walk from the house. It was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and had more than everything you could need in the kitchen and bathrooms. Overall, a beautiful stay and I only wish I’d had my daughter there to enjoy the beautiful bunk beds and back yard!

The house is small but comfortable. It is located in an excellent place, near the beach. It's a few steps away. You don't need to use the vehicle inside the kitchen. It has everything you need in a kitchen. He has a lot of towels. It has towels for the beach. It has chairs for the beach. He has a cart to carry the chairs and other things for the beach in the back. He has a gas grill. He has a table with many chairs. He has a patio room. He has a lot of parking inside the indoor property for the Family who carry babies. He has a playpen and a stroller to be able to walk around the beach It also has toys for children to play in the sand

Pros: super clean and cute! Comfy beds, towels and supplies, full kitchen, wagon was perfect. Cons: when i arrived 3 windows were unlocked. When trying to lock them i realize theyre broken. Felt Very unsafe despite cameras. Fan in bunk bed room didn't work. An issue they were already aware of but haven't fixed. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy. Sitting on front porch to relax then hearing a man on other side of fence screaming was not very relaxing. Workers all around the house even coming into the fenced yard as well as blocking off driveway. Paper towels and toilet paper were thin, cheap and useless. Had to buy my own. Overall cute house and great beds. But i wouldn't stay there again unless the window locks got fixed and bunk room fan was fixed. It gets too hot in that room to not have a fan. And its not safe to have unlocked windows in a neighborhood that seems sketchy.

When we got there the construction that was going on made it hard to even get into the property. They left a loud generator running until about 4am that i could hear through out the entire house. The beach chairs and wagon were very rusty and falling apart, they need to be updated or kept somewhere covered and out of rain maybe? The house was nice and had everything we could have needed. The king bed was hard and pillows way too soft so i didnt sleep too well. The ceiling of the upstairs bathroom looks like it might have mold? I should have taken a photo but it's a huge black blotch above the sink close to the vent. Ants were also a problem outside and some inside. Overall nice house, my 7 year old loved the hoyse and wish we lived there LOL! And i liked the short distance to beach and restaurant around the corner

The small cottage was just as advertised. It was clean, but could have been cleaner. It was very close to the beach. The issues we had were from the beginning as we pulled up to the house because there were no lights on, on the outside, so it was hard to locate the house. Then the passcode that was given to us didn’t work. We had to walk around the back of the house to a lock box to get a key. Apparently other people had the same problem, according to the reviews. The master bedroom was upstairs and the kids bedroom was downstairs. There were 2 locks on the front door but only 1 worked, so I didn’t feel comfortable leaving the kids downstairs by themselves. Then we found out that the fan in the kid’s bedroom didn’t work or have a tv. We ended up giving the master to our 2 children and we slept on the pull out sofa. This is not the first Vrbo that we have stayed in, so yes we weren’t happy with the situation. Other Vrbo’s that we have stayed at have provided breakfast items for us. They also had paper products like paper plates, utensils and to go cups. I also didn’t appreciate the cheap quality of the toilet paper. Every Vrbo that we have stayed at has had top quality items.

The property is well-maintained and situated in an excellent location. However, we did come across some old dog poop on the side of the house, which was a bit unpleasant. Additionally, there is a bush near the front door that produces berries and attracts a significant number of flies, so we ended up using the back door instead. The check-in process was odd.... Typically, we receive the necessary information on the day of or the day before our stay, but in this case, we had to make a phone call to obtain the access code. However, when I called, the line only rang once, and I could hear background noise before someone finally responded after I said hello. Instead of a digital entry system, we were provided with a physical key that we had to carry around or insert into a lockbox. Considering the size of the property, it was a bit tight for me, my partner, and our two dogs. Nevertheless, it is nicely stocked with kitchen utensils and plenty of towels. However, the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Every spring and bump could be felt, making it the most uncomfortable place I have ever slept in. I once slept on the floor with just a blanket, and it was more comfortable than these beds. I would suggest that the company who owns this place consider investing in 2 or 3-inch mattress toppers to improve the sleeping experience. Additionally, it would be helpful if they provided a fly swatter to deal with the flies attracted by the bush near the front door.

When we arrived at the house at 3:45, the door lock was dead and still hasn’t been fixed like in other reviews. Texted, waited 15 minutes no answer, called no answer, got another number from VM and called, no answer, call back primary number, lady answers “ugh Hello!” Then hangs up before I can say anything. So I text again, finally about 10 minutes later she answers with where are you? I text her the property address and she responds with the back door lock box code for the key. Yay we finally get in. House is clean and kitchen has everything a person would need to cook. House is small but perfect for two adults and 2-3 kids. Tv in living room and main suite upstairs. None in bunk room. Dishwasher is LOUD so don’t run it before bed. Beds are platform slat style with no box springs, sleeping was rough. They were clean though. Landscaping has fallen into a mess and someone threw old diaper by the back door. we didn’t use the patio as it hasn’t been up kept. House was located in a quiet area and very close to a lot! Nice location. Tell the area is being revamped one abandoned house at a time. Night before check out I sent a text at 7:30 pm asking about where to leave the trash and where to pile the linens we took off the beds as stated in the house rules. There was a trash can outside that had another address spray painted on it and had trash in it and has laying down and full of water. Her response was “I left the trash can outside” no answer about linens. No answer when I told her about the trash can. So we just added trash to that can and left the linens in a pile in each room. Could be a great listing but needs a little help with communication and other items above.

House is nice, clean, well equipped. fenced yard, covered parking are huge plusses. issues are, stairs to main bedroom are very steep, a/c thermostat is wonky, woke up every morning at 4:00 am freezing. had thermostat set at 73 but it changed on its own to 66 every morning and vent in upstairs bedroom blows right into your face when in bed. had to go downstairs at 4:00 to reset. other issue was internet was intermittent, could not watch tv at night or in the morning
