The room we were given was disappointing. The window faced the front porch and couldn’t be opened, which made the stay uncomfortable. While the room itself was just average, we decided to check out early rather than spend another night there. Next time, I’ll choose a Marriott or Hilton instead.

Great resort. Not much directly in the Barton creek area, but only a 20 minute drive downtown without traffic.

There was a convention of some sort while we were on the property and the music in the area for smores was a bit loud overwriting the nice relaxing music the resort provided.

This is our 2nd stay here and the staff and resort are wonderful. The only thing I’d have changed with this stay is that the blind salamander was closed 2 of the 3 nights we were there so just plan accordingly if you plan to stay and want to eat here. The paint used in the elevators has a very strong odor as well. Other than that, all is perfect! Local restaurant we attended was Carve and it was amazing.
