The hotel is very nice and upon entering you feel like you're in a 5 star hotel. The lobby is very nicely decorated and the staff is attentive and wants to make you feel welcome. The rooms are small but this is to be expected in Italy. The only issue I had was the strange layout of the bathroom. The toilet was in the shower, which is something I've never experienced before. I know the room is small but this could have been planned a little better. There is a bidet which is outside the shower and would have made more sense to swap places with the toilet. Also, the light switch for the bathroom was across from the door hidden under the hair dryer. Other than those minor flaws the hotel was great. It is close to the train station and the duomo, so getting where you want to go is easy. I would definitely recommend the Hotel Burchianti

As a woman travelling alone, I felt super safe at Hotel Burchianti. The staff were so friendly and made me feel at ease. They also let me leave my bags at the hotel after I checked out which meant I was able to visit one more museum before my flight home. The hotel is in a brilliant location. Generally Firenze is very walkable and, although the hotel appears in the corner of the city, it's just minutes from most major locations. It's also a few minutes walk from Unita tram stop which has direct trains to the airport. So the location is great for all needs. I only mark down due to the tired room. The bathroom needs a bit of love, especially the leaky tap. The room was basic but I feel this is reflected in the price. If the hotel is able to renovate the room a little then this would be a 5* review and I think hugely elevate the overall experience. That said, though, I'd certainly recommend Hotel Burchianti. Thank you for a lovely stay. I'm missing Florence immensley!

The location of the hotel is simply unbeatable. It is located between the Duomo and the train station. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are very clean and pretty. Also, since it’s next to the Duomo you can find many food options open late nearby. I will most likely stay here in any future trips to Florence.

The property is very old, pool facilities, good location though. They only have one physical key, and you have to lock using the physical key whether you are inside or go outside, bed sheet does not look that clean, I would not stay here again

Very nice and safe hotel for female solo traveller. Very helpful staff and clean room! Walking distance to all the attractions. The building is quite hard to find as there's no sign at the entrance. There's also a convenient store rigtht next to the entrance of the building!

This was a great hotel, we loved the painting on the ceiling of our room. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very convenient to the train station. Had a long, wonderful conversation with the manager the day we left while resting after a walk and waiting to walk to the train. Talked about everything local and global both serious and light. One of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Thank you.

Wonderful property , friendly and helpful staff. Quiet location but close to everything. I found the hotel by using maps but when you arrive there is not a traditional hotel sign, instead a plaque on the wall with a buzzer. They will let you in and you go upstairs to check in.

Book this hotel.
The hotel was absolutely amazing. You felt like you were back in time. Private, quaint, and not a chain hotel. The location was ideal for seeing the dome and other major sites. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Probably one of the prettiest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The original hand and painted ceiling was just breathtaking. Stay here. You won’t regret it

Customer service was amazingly good. Julia was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. She made our check in so easy and helped us with so much information that we needed it at the moment. I would definitely recommend this stay and when I come back to Firenze again, I’ll stay at this Hotel in a heartbeat.

What a lovely place to stay. Our room was lovely and spacious. The staff very friendly. The location was excellent! Only thing we would change is then AC was a little slow to cool off such a large room with high ceilings but would stay here again. Was a great Florence experience!

The place felt more like bed & breakfast than hotel. The staff was extremely warm and attentive. We stayed in a room for 4 and it was very spacious - 2 queen size beds and it had its own original fresco on the celling. It had its own charm and history.

It was a very spacious room, with a comfortable bed. The 24hour airport shuttle was a big bonus and easy to use. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a hotel near the airport.

We arrived to find that our room was sold to someone else although we prepaid 5 weeks earlier through Expedia. Hotel said this was Expedia’s fault and that it happens often! They did find us another room at a lesser hotel eventually, neither the suite nor the panoramic view we paid for.

Location of this hotel is everything! The hotel was right in the centre of the city and very close to the train station. The staff in this hotel are amazing and make great recommendations! The only downside for me was that my room had mosquitos which I brought up to the staff but the solution we had did not fix the problem. Overall, super pleased with my stay here and would stay again.

‘My husband, daughter n I were there in Aug. and loved our room with a view, the staff, breakfast and proximity to train station and tourist spots. We will definitely go back again I liked the additional touch of having herb infused water available to guests after a long hot day of shopping
