"No hot water in first room, had to switch. Dust collected on bed’s headboard, hair in the bathroom that wasn’t mine, and mystery stains on the curtains… I elected to not explore the other facilities contained based on my experience in the room. Staff’s kindness and customer service was the silver lining."

"I was underwhelmed with this hotel. It is under construction right now, so the lobby layout is confusing and feels very cramped. Our room layout was fine and it was clean, but the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. The bathroom door was a pocket door that did not go all the way to ground, thus providing very little privacy. The location is great, but this was billed as one of the nicest hotels in Portland and overall felt very mid-range. "
