"We had an amazing time here with a group of 8 friends. Alexandra is a fantastic host - she set up a boat cruise, a private chef and wine tastings for us as well as arranged for us to have a driver. The property is wonderful - better than the pictures even. It was very clean and every bedroom had it's own private bathroom. We will definately be back."

"Very nice house overall. We used the pool and barbecue. The view was gorgeous. It was a little further from the wineries we planned to visit but was a easy trip to Porto by car. The was some excellent hiking nearby. We could have used trash bins in the bathrooms. We would have appreciated a notebook with recommendations about restauants and things to do"

"The place was many kilometers with switchbacks, away from Resende, a shack with an open green front door. We could not even scale the driveway. The tires on car kept spinning. It was a frightening neighborhood. We just took the long winding road back down and headed to Fatima. It took me a few days to recover from the traumatizing experience. "The check-in process was smooth and great. João was really helpful and available to give us all needed information for our stay. "We loved staying at this home! The location is perfect, tucked away in a vineyard. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths accommodated our group perfectly. Check in was difficult. We were not able to arrive in the 2 hr window that the host was there. They left the keys in the lock, but we didnt have parking information and couldnt reach the host via phone or VRBO. Eventually some nice ladies came out and pointed out where to park. Besides a bumpy check in, the location was perfect. I would definitely recommend...

"My wife and I celebrated our 25 year wedding anniversary at the Quinta. It's location made it convenient to visit local museums, wineries and Churches. The location also allowed us to explore many nearby small towns for amazing meals and to meet lovely people. Porto is only ~1.4hrs by tollway, which is 90% of the travel. We highly recommend taking the train, just across the Douro in Régua, out to Pocinho for a relaxing lunch and walk around the quaint town before returning. The railway view...

"We loved our stay at the Lamego Hotel & Life Hotel. The property was great with a lovely Spa where we had an amazing 90 minute massage, great bar and restaurant. We found all the staff to be so friendly, polite and helpful always going over and above. The reception staff were particularly exceptional as they helped me with winery reservations and transport to wineries and restaurants. They were also very helpful to my husband in storing his bike and helping him to plan safe cycle routes Thank you so much for our wonderful stay."
