Great little motel in a beautiful area. We were looking for a quintessential Canadiana cottage type experience and this was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the sightseeing followed by an evening in front of the campfire. Great breakfast place at Erika’s just down the road. Thanks for a great stay!

A very basic motel, but very pleasing. The room was clean and comfortable. They had a BBQ area set up if you chose. A wonderful grassy area to play games. Badminton, volley ball etc. a small fee for my dogs and she even gave us towels for them. No swimming in October but what a beautiful river. Hope to go back next year and swim in the river.

We really loved this lakeside cottage! The staff were warm and welcoming, and always easy to reach whenever we needed assistance. The lake views were beautiful, and the whole experience was definitely worth it. We really enjoyed our stay!

The room had a sitting room plus bedroom- great layout. Two queen beds which were comfortable. Air conditioning worked but there was also a window that opened which we used on couple of nights. Lots of boating options available. The water is clear and fairly shallow for a good portion. We had the breakfast each morning which was good. Nice relaxing place to be. It's not modern but it has everything you need.

I recently stayed at this lake house , and it was fantastic. The room was clean, spacious, and had a stunning lake view. The amenities were excellent—gas stove, large family room with a big TV, and even a white noise machine. Parking was easy, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Given all this, it was a great deal for the price. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay

Lovely clean room with very polite owner operators. Would highly recommend it to friends. Close to Arrowhead Provincial Park and 30 mins to Algonquin Park. Great place to stay for astrophotographers, nature or wildlife photographers that prefer a comfortable bed and all the amenities one needs in a nights stay.

Amazing experience! We got a junior room with a queen bed and a pull-out sofa bed, enough for 3 people. You get exactly what you want, which are comfy beds, clean room, and great location (2mins away from Algonquin west gate). The highlight are free canoes and kayaks!! You can enjoy with your family paddling to the waterfall. They also sell discounted Algonquin park permit. They have BBQ equipment, zero gravity chairs, and swings for a great chill-out time.

Did not expect this property. It was so clean and neatly maintained.

It was a pleasant experience. It was quiet, the room was standard we didn’t expect too much. Lots of activity, staff are friendly and helpful. If there was a gym that would we awesome.
