"Hotel was better than expected after reading the reviews. Previously stayed at the hotel many years ago with previous owners & it has so many facilities for kids it has the potential to be a great hotel (like it used to) Biggest let down was the heat of the room. It was actually unbearable heat, hardly slept & were kids not feeling great with it. Hotel rooms seriously need air con. Other thing that could be improved is to bring back the restraunt. "Beautiful setting, great rooms, has a pool that we didn't get a chance to use. Restaurant food is decent as well! "

"Resort itself is very nice, nice easy walk to the Main Street. Staff were excellent, very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was really good, lots of choices. We stayed for 2 nights and there were only a couple of things that were a bit poor. 1. The fire alarm went off 3 times during our short stay, including once early morning. People lining the corridors not sure if it was a drill, or a fault. No explanation given. 2. Our room (2234) was a “Deluxe” room, but it did appear a bit run down....

"We loved our stay here. The location was convenient; the room was clean and comfortable; breakfast was tasty; and most of all, the hosts were amazingly hospitable. Due to our original flight being canceled, we checked in later in the day than we anticipated, and the host was gracious and understanding. We also forgot to bring a power converter (we traveled from the U.S.), and the hosts let us borrow theirs until we were able to buy one locally. We would definitely recommend staying here."

"Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Our room was lovely with a great view of the river and the mountains. We had dinner at the property. Tasted good. Nice that they packed us a lunch instead of taking our breakfast that was included because we were leaving early. That was an unexpected nice touch."

"The hotel isn't at the airport it's about 6 miles from the airport.It is situated right behind ikea at Braehead.I should have taken more note of the address.The hotel staff were pleasant.The lift was broken we arrived, but it was fixed the next day.It spoiled our stay as we were to meet people arriving at Glasgow airport.The good thing about this hotel is the car parking is free."
