"Hotel very convenient for bus station and entertainment venues such as the Pavilion, the Royal concert Hall, and the Theatre Royal. Enjoyed the quirky decor and the appearance of the hotel inside. Staff were helpful at check-in and in the bar.The room would have benefited from having tea making facilities in it, and there wasn’t even a plastic cup to be able to have a drink of water, so I feel that could’ve been improved."

"Staff were very attentive and helpful. We arrived early and were given the option to have our belongings stored while were explored the city until we were able to check in. Bedroom decor and bathroom were beautiful. It was great being right next to the central station which provided easy access to transportation. Although it was within the city centre, we were able sleep peacefully at night. "

"We’ve stayed once before, and that time there were no issues at all, it was lovely. This time, not so much. Upon arrival we were checked in and offered a free ‘upgrade’ to a room further from the train tracks to allow for better sleep, which was kind, but the people in the room next door were loud (shouting and banging) so we had to call reception twice, midnight and 2am, to ask them to send someone up to have a word. The pipes/ something in the bathroom made dripping noises all night to the point of me fully worrying the toilet was overflowing. The room looked lovely, but one of the pillow cases had what looked like makeup stains and we found a fake eyelash under one of the pillow cases. I made reception well aware of this when we checked out and she seemed not to care one bit. Nice toiletries and a comfy bed, but we won’t be staying again any time soon. "
