Our stay resulted in a L100 parking charge from Parkingeye. We were 32 minutes checking in and parked our rental car in front of the hotel next to the roundabout as instructed by the doorman. We then left the hotel and returned the car rental to Budget. Therefore we had no extended or overnight parking requirements. Budget received notice of the parking fine and then billed us an additional fee of L30 that is non-refundable regardless of the Parkingeye appeal verdict. In summary, our check-in resulted in a L130 fee. Beyond the parking fine, our room faced Bishop Lane. The room was very noisy. Related to COVID policies. All guests were required to wear a mask during the stay. However, the Italian Foodball team who were staying at the hotel at the same time were not encouraged by the staff to mask within public areas. When compared to our other hotels during our UK vacation, the Glasgow Marriott was a below-average stay. When compounded with a L130 fee related to our check-in, it is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in.

Couldn't control bedroom thermostat, was very cold, no blankets available. Food in restaurant could have been warmer and was quite expensive. Bar area was cool and draughty.
