It gave the full feel of an old world hunting lodge with lush surroundings. Off the beaten path with tons of local hiking. The building structure is amazing and the rooms felt like you were back in time. What a stunning location and place to stay. Everything was absolutely lovely and very unique. We stayed in the Prince Charlie room and it was absolutely gorgeous. I have never stayed anywhere with an in room breakfast provision, but it worked so well and we really enjoyed it. The lodge was on the top of the hill creating privacy and with gorgeous views of the loch and hills. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The room was spacious, with a well appointed bathroom and comfortable bed. The grounds of the hotel were very well kept and beautiful. The only part of our stay we didn’t love was that there was no one to greet you on arrival, so we felt a little confused about entering the property. The host recommended a local pub for dinner, which was handy - again a 10-minute drive away. There was a 10-minute walk in the welcome pack that took in stunning views.
