Was staying for the night. Bed was comfy. Had a little bit of an outdated feel. Overall a perfect stay for a day or two if you just need a place to sleep and freshen up. Lyft was convenient to get to the beach as parking is harder at the beach at night.

Really tough to find a decent hotel close to Newport beach, but I picked this one balanced on ratings and price. I probably would not recommend it in the future, it was more like a motel. People running up and down the halls outside very loud, kids and dogs around barking. Bathrooms were "rough" you know the drain not going down well, crusty corners and rusty. The TV seemed to be from the 90's and was barely visible, just looked very old. Place is run down, but I think they are doing their best to maintain it. They offered me a military discount, but I couldn't take it since I booked through Expedia...???
