Commonwealth Stadium Tours and Activities

Stay was friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was very smooth. The open seating area was beautifully done, the lights and trees were gorgeous. Most rooms had little "patios" on them which was a nice touch. Unfortunately when the rooms are quite dated and in need of repairs. Wallpaper peeling in most places, the jacuzzi in the room had a fairly large Crack in the bottom and the carpet around the tub area was still quite damp. The keurig machine was definitely not cleaned, which is disgusting. When we got the bedding out of the bag for the hide-a-bed, the quilt had a blood stain on it. We called down to the front desk and were brought up new bedding rather quickly but still alarming that the quilt had a blood stain on it and was put back into the bag of bedding, so absolutely the quilt wasnt changed between guests. Overall, I would say the main area and the kind staff were about the only real upside to the stay. Location was a benefit, and price with the jacuzzi compared to other hotels was the original selling point. But unsure if we would go back there. Updating and repairs, better cleaning would make a massive difference and experience for guests.

It was a quiet and cozy stay with a great location with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby within walking distance. Miles and John we're very helpful with the sign-in process. Will definitely stay again when we're back to Edmonton

Honestly, it has aged as we stayed here years ago...location is still great and you can tell staff is trying their best. Time for new upgrades.
