"Our family enjoyed this hotel. Breakfast was very good with made to order omelets and a small variety of other hot items. As far as the pool and hot tub go, as others have mentioned this area is used for swimming lessons, but we always found them to be accommodating to our young one by giving a place to swim, Plus the hot tub with the Jets was always available when we wanted to use it at night. The location is pretty great, You are above the metro, so it made for easy access to other areas of the city. I will say it did take a day to fully understand the layout of the building and how to get to the metro easily. Overall, we will be booking this hotel for any future trips to D.C."

"We loved everything about the hotel except for one thing, hence the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. We were in room 336 and below us, on the street level was an establishment that was very noisy every night, starting around 9pm and lasting until 3am. There was very loud music and people shouting and laughing on the sidewalk and in the street near the place...I assume until closing time. I tried earplugs, but they didn't cut out the noice. I had to use noise cancelling headphones and play something calm & quiet to drown out the noise EVERY night (Thursday through Sunday). We would have asked for a different room, but had gotten settled in this room and just weren't into getting re-settled. The hotel was exceptional in every other way, and I would stay again, though would ask for a different location next time. The staff were super friendly and helpful during every encounter. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were great."

"The Lyle is a charming little art deco gem in a cute, safe DuPont Circle neighborhood that’s enjoyable to walk around. The staff is lovely! Lily, the front desk manager, was super helpful accommodating an early check-in & Sam was an exceptional doorman - cheerful & professional- making us feel safe & welcomed at all times. Rooms were cozy, but comfortable; clean & cute. Made you feel like a local living the big city DC life. Debaser soaps & lotions were a treat - smelled modern & high-end. Room service food & cocktails were fast & delicious. Free Saratoga Springs water replenishment throughout stay. Lyle’s restaurant was the perfect basecamp before & after the wedding we came for & dinners out. Weekend brunch was bumping & the place to be, with lots of fabulous, fashionable, see & be seen people. Great DJ, bartenders doubled as waitstaff & you’d never know it - they were so on it! We must have hit Lyle’s 5x in our short stay in between other hotspots around town! Check-out was super smooth & staff warm & friendly. Loved our stay, we’ll be back!"
