"A basic room, nothing fancy, but clean, quiet and comfortable and very conveniently located. Several places to get food and coffee within easy walking distance. One restaurant is attached to the motel itself. I’m traveling by train and bicycle. This motel is close to the Capitol and the train station, so it’s perfect for me. I will stay here again next time I’m in DC."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had at least brief encounters with desk staff, manager, house keeping, maintenance, bar/restaurant, and security. Everyone was extremely friendly. However my room was not ready when I arrived but I did arrive early. When I came back several hours later after check in time my room was still not ready. After about another hour I was able to get in my room. They did hold my luggage for me and compensate me with a small bag of treats. This minor set back did cause me to miss a schedule event though. All in all a good place to stay in a nice area with plenty of restaurants within walking distance"
