"So, I booked our room back in September, October of 2021. Between then and when our trip was, the property changed owners. Apparently, there was a bit of a mixup with the booking and the whole lodge was booked for a reunion. We get there to check in, and not only do they still accommodate us, despite the mixup, they gave us an upgrade for no extra charge. We were staying for our anniversary and were absolutely thrilled with everything. We will definitely visit again in the future."

"Absolutely wonderful stay! Such a vibe! Friendly and helpful staff. This quaint mountain retreat is full of thoughtful details that make it feel cozy, almost like home. You can get wine in the lobby or bring your own. They even thought to include a wine opener in your room. Having a fireplace right in our room, an amazing showerhead, K-cup coffee, snacks, drinks, and a TV made it tempting never to leave. The light breakfast available each morning and the cozy lobby hangout added to the welcoming atmosphere. But the outdoor fireplaces, cozy seating areas, and even a fireside movie under the stars made the experience even more memorable. The town was super cute too and we loved having dinner and drinks at their sister property, HmH. We loved every minute and can’t wait to come back!"

"My husband and I visited from Georgia for one night and I must say that I was relatively surprised. Love the hotel, the amenities, especially the pool table. Staff were pleasant and the decor of the hotel and rooms were stellar. Both fridge and microwave were in the rooms which was a huge plus for us. Will be visiting again."

"Place had 8.2 star which was a little high in my opinion for the type of place. There was a lot of “junk” around the front office that appeared renovations maybe were being done. The room was clean but definitely could use updating. Had to turn heater on and the smell was horrible. Could hear everything going on upstairs most of the night. There was a lot of young people hanging around outside a good bit of the evening. The staff was very pleasant checking in. Not sure I would stay there again though."

"Nice yard for quick and easy toilet breaks for my dogs. Screened in porch for relaxing and listening to the river flow over the rocks Well stocked kitchen and plenty of blankets for cozying up in the living room Appreciate all the extras including a cabinet of games & puzzles. We used Both a/c @ heat but sunny every day. Foggy most mornings and multiple deer."
